driveways and garage door seals

Has anyone figured out the steepest driveway approach angle that can be used without fear of scraping the front end of a Corvette?

Also, how do folks seal their overhead garage doors? I would think they are the biggest source of heating/cooling loss, particularly around the edges.

The side edges of my garage door are actually the source for most of the dirt and bugs that get into my garage. There has to be something to get a better seal, but I haven't seen anything yet.

Just use a board and place the leading edge at the front tire and raise it up till it touches the low-spot on the front bumper/spoiler. Do some geometry equation or use a protractor to find the max angle.

They used that stupid rolled curb in my neighborhood. I've got to drive my Corvette over the curb/driveway apron at an angle or I'll scrape the exhaust and lower valance. It's a pain but the Vette only comes out on nice weekends.

On the corvette forum there was a discussion about ramps for corvettes. If I remember correctly the largest angle was 15 degrees to avoid rubbing the lower facia. This would apply to your driveway as well, imo

As for garage door seals use menards rubber door seal all the way around.looks like wood but is rubber with rubber flap to seal against
leaks. come on twenty ft lenghts.
