The Century type welding cords are quite stiff. They are okay in 20' or 25' lengths.

The S type rubber cords are nice in longer lengths. You can quickly roll them up.

We used a 50' 10/3 S cord on a Miller 252 with no issues and on a Lincoln 225 buzz box

Well to keep this semi-on-topic, I use the 50ft 8/3 extension cord that I linked in my first post and the breaker size (240v) is 30A (but using #8 THHN).

Dual shield weld that I just pulled out of the scrap bucket (sorry, no polish&etch). Lincoln 71M .035 w/C25:

Spray transfer, 90/10 mix (again, scrap/practice). Lincoln L56 .030 @ ~26v and 500IPM:

Both dual shield and spray welds were all from practice "sessions", so it was just bead after bead after bead, and no over temp light. It's extremely impressive. Nearly melted the poor little M10 torch a few times though [emoji23]...an M25 or Bernard Q200 is definitely in the cards.

Looks good. Never thought to spray with them (little machines) . Here is a Hobart 210 with 030 solid C25. These were on dirty plate.
