so with all the recent torque wrench questions i started thinking,what happens if you drop a digital torque wrench? i was always told not to drop a click type torque wrench because it will damage it and possibly lower its accuracy. so what about a digital one, im sure it would have a higher tolerance to drop damage do to its internals are different.im very curious now because on friday i accidentally dropped my tech angle from the top of my cart about 4 foot drop maybe a bit more.so now im wondering if it could of had an effect on its accuracy since i need it tomorrow to torque some very important fasteners. i could do it by feel as ive done before but with the level of importance for this repair, i dont want it in the back of my mind.i want every fastener to spec.
