I picked up this old PC oscillating spindle sander on the cheap, super excited to finally have one. It runs pretty smoothly and I was glad to see it was single phase.

It’s got 7/16” threads and I had some allthread on a shelf, but I have to get a set of drums for it. Anyone got a line on some 9” rubber drums? It’d be great if they were 7/16” ID but it seems like most are 1/2” which I could just put a metal sleeve in, I’m figuring?

Hope someone knows something, TIA for any input.

As nobody has come up with anything, Call Klingspore. They carry every kind of abrasive, including 9" sleeves. I don't see a 9" drum but maybe they can help. Can you stack up shorter drums on the screw to get 9"? Just because the screw hole is under 1/2" doesn't mean the original screw was not a shoulder bolt, with a larger diameter than the screw end. That would help with side load on the drum. Can you use a shorter drum? There is more out there in shorter lengths.

Klingspor is a good idea, thanks. I think the Grizzly drums will work if I can find some.
