Dry Tile Saws?

That would be retarded to use on a project inside. Even with a vacuum hookup, the dust would be killer. Think of it the same a grinder with a tile wheel. I have this for my grinder, and use it from time to time to bevel edges, cut circles, you know little stuff. Even doing that, you can destroy your work area in seconds.

You want to cut a line in concrete, just get that blade for your cheap **** skill saw. Thats it.

I got one of those for Xmas one year. I used it one time. Cut about an inch and threw it in the trash. It is junk. For less than 40 bucks you can buy a blade for your 4" grinder and get a better cut.

I have the Makita version. I use it all the time as a circular saw. I have used it a few times with a diamond blade cutting back the line on an existing tile or brick floor. Ii does have some uses. The RPM is like 10,000, so it can get dicey.

I have cut a few loose tiles dry with it. It will chip the edges. I try to use a wet saw for all installations, but I can't carry a wet saw into a bathroom to cut out for a repair.

Bottom line: that saw is no substitute for a decent wet saw, but I'm glad I have my Makita. I've used it for 25 years as a contractor and never even put new brushes in it. I cut wood, tile and metal with it.
