I had one of those for awhile, but after a few years, being on the south side of the house, the top cover discolored, cracked, and fell apart due to heat and sun (UV) exposure.
Yeah, that's one of the few beefs I have with this unit - cheap, brittle plastic compound that doesn't stand up to UV. Tho they say you can paint it. That would prolly help a lot.
