Painting cellar walls with Dryloc waterproofing paint. It's very thick but I heard it can be sprayed.....don't see how it could without thinning it and I don't want to do that.
Any application advice?
Thanks

I used a 3/4 nap roller. More glopped then rolled, but it worked.

Have a brush handy to work it into any holes or crevices.

Agree on the thick nap roller..........roll it heavy and repeat witha second coat insures the best sealing and moisture protection.

The Zinser product I used recommend 3/4” nap, DO NOT THIN, TWO coats minimum, fill all the pores. All these products are cement based and thick coating is important ( critical).

If the walls are not flat like stone walls the only choice is large mop type brush it’s going to be messy and a lot of work.

Use a brush like this one unless your walls are flat enough to roll.

From their site:

Stir DRYLOK® Original Masonry Waterproofer thoroughly before and during application - do not thin. Apply the first coat to bare masonry with a three-quarter-inch nap roller, a DRYLOK® Brush or a quality nylon bristle brush.

I was told by a man whom I respect, that if you believe everything you hear; will be howling at the moon and hauling in your bath water.

Nothing is more authoritative than the Manufacturer's Instructions.

That was not in the instructions. Could I just take the wall out and turn it around and put it back?
