I left my brand new tub of drywall mud out in the van and it froze. Its still frozen, is it still any good if i defrost it? or should I just chuck it?

Probably trash - I wouldn't trust it, but you might want to give it a try once it thaws. My guess it's going to be chunky and ridled with ice chips for a while. 5 gallons doesn't thaw overnight.

Toss it. It isn't going to perform like it should. Personally, I always use the dry version. It is a bit more effort to mix it yourself and you only have a certain amount of time to work with it (which you can choose - it varies from 20 minutes to over three hours). But it sets up instead of just drying - resulting in a much harder finish.

Being a drywall finisher myself. If it froze only one time, just give it a good mix in a bucket and its ready to use.
