Seems like he could use a lecture on forum etiquette. We like having tool suppliers here but prefer not to have to read a never ending stream of praise about your brand.Put your companies info in your sig line and shut up already unless you have something to say that has something to do with the thread. We've already read all these old threads your dragging up and it doesn't do anything but make me want to avoid reading anything you post.If this keeps up you'll be on my(and probably others)ignore list. Not trying to be a **** but this is a discussion forum not an advertisement service.

I agree with caper here, I don't mind having distributes on the forum but dragging up old threads and doing nothing but linking to the brands you sell on your website in each post is borderline spam.

He still hasn't stopped by yet huh? I thought it would be easier for him to make his pitch in this thread instead of crashing all the others. :D

I reported one of his posts earlier.

Maybe he'll turn out to be a valuable community member, but he sure doesn't leave a good first impression.

I thought about starting a thread earlier when this guy brought back 5 threads about Genius tools. I didn't want to call the guy out, but now that I see I am not the only one who feels this way, I don't feel so bad.

I reported one as well.I'd like to see him become a valuable member too but somehow I have my doubts,I hope he proves me wrong.

Well, I tried to send him a PM but I got this automated message from the board's software............

The following errors occurred with your submission:

1. DSKA Tools has chosen not to receive private messages or may not be allowed to receive private messages. Therefore you may not send your message to him/her.

So........ here is my PM for him (and everyone else) to read................

"Please do everyone a favor, put a link to your web site in your profile and in your signature line, and quit dredging up old posts and spamming them with your "suggestions", everyone on here likes to have tool distributors on here, but most of them are up front about it and are helpful and not pushing their stuff to the point of spam.

Bad way to start out new on a discussion group.......... no intro, just new "spam" on old "hash"

We'd like you to stay around, but quit with the "subtle" advertising, and simply participate in the discussions.

Always glad to see a new member from "Jawja"

Charles"

Both TRTOOLSUPPLY and WrenHandTools had different starts.

If I recall correctly, TRToolSupply started off promoting Wright, but was not selling any goods, and he carried himself (in whatever way is possible electronically) with a different attitude. As for Mike, he came here to pick up the pieces left by of the previous Toptul distributor. By the time that was done, he was relatively well liked.

I hope for their sake that the "Combination Gear Wrench" offered for sale on the DSKA website is made by Danaher, because the Gearwrench(TM) legal team will stomp DSKA like a trademark-infringing bug if they aren't.

Hi Guys,
I too was watching him.I have said before that I made a serious mistake "joking" about tool truck brands.I really did not think about it looking like SPAM of any tools I was selling, just some (bad) joking on my part!If bad jokes a not allowed, then a lot of members are in trouble!:lol_hitti
I want to thank Stuey,Krusty and Merk for being so understanding and helping set me right. It is much more enjoyable to post and discuss topics than to try selling on the GJ(even when asked).
I like to leave the stirring to a pro like Merk.........I am in awe of the endless thought provoking he ensures!!!
Thanks for letting me stay in the clubhouse!

hi guys,i just joined this forum for the sake of finding more info on dska tools.i purchased a welder from their website 2 weeks ago and all i got was a confirmation number,no info on tracking. i called the numbers on the website and it went straight to a cell phones voice mail.in the voice mail he stated he worked for quinn tooling company.well i did some research on "Quinn tooling", and it turns out it is the same address and phone number as dska. I'm really at a complete lose right now and i dont know what i should do.any help from you guys could help me out so much. Thanks, Marc

I got some Genius Tools through them, and it seemed like a crapshoot as I didn't really get any detailed information, but everything worked out and my stuff came. I just think it is somewhat of a low buck operation that is not really streamlined or they just need to work on their customer service skills.

Ok,thanks. You don't know how much better I feel now that you said that.I'm just so sketched out that he isn't a legitimate seller. How long did it end up taking for you to get your order?
