dual 80 or 88

Just noticed that, But was a bit steep for me to start with, Near retail if i remember correctly.
Under $50.00 and it might go.
Krusty, do you know what your dealer did do to loose his franchise.

all i have heard is rumors, the story differs from other dealers and the former dealer himself. they pulled two franchises in the area. most likely due to low purchase averages.

i have both and i grab my 80s still. although the matco did just come in handy the other day i was swappin heads on my truck and with the extention and socket combo i had my flf80 would not fit but the matco did. so the matco has the advantage of being slimer but i still perfer my 80s

If I had to have just one ratchet I would buy the tool that will work for the most applications. In this case the matco, with it's smaller head, is clearly the winner. This, for me anyway, is simply because it will work in places the Snap-On simply won't. Furthermore, it has 95% of the smoothness and is considerably cheaper on the open market. My .02 Cents!

yea seriously for that price just buy both, they are both great.
I have a dual 80 and I do think its smoother than the 88, and so far I have not had a problem with it not fitting, but it is thicker.
Is the best ratchet I've ever used and a lot of people compliment me for it.

I've been lurking here for a while and have not posted before maybe this wasn't the way to start.
I'm an avid tool junkie, mostly Snap-on stuff. I've been using tools for almost 25 years and have a decent collection of tools. Maybe I'll try this again. I have both ratchets and I like the Snap-on action better.
