Just a couple points on why this was made as a new post
1) The true-dual 80 ratchet in particular has a larger head design, that is the whole point of the thread; so the observation it is larger is obviously true but the question is why bother unless its better. It was clearly re-designed and stamped USA, neither of which seem to be a cost-cutting or corner-cutting move.
2) The actual (tested) strength of the dual 80 is noticebly stronger other designs; i'm not sure anything is stronger...and most ratcheting wrenches including snap on are pretty fragile, so the idea of a very strong wrench design is what is acatually 'NEW', assuming that it is true.
So to recap, the question here is are those new wrenches actual dual 80 designs or not( and not lame attempt like 72T earlier models); and if they are true dual 80, justg how strong are they? ie, are they strong as regular dual 80 ratchets...which are generally stronger than hing-joint breaker bars?
The other commet about size, esp with the picture posted, is those are LARGE wrenches, 21-24mm, they are not your standard 13mm or 1/2 inch size that most people use for foto-Op shots. The SAE sizes are 13/16 to 1 inch, again similar but large sizes not baby sized at all.
OK. That is it. Anyone with some insights pls chime in would be great to see something new that makes these more capable. If they are just same-o same-o obviusly there is no news.
Lastly the guy talking about SK, those are 100 tooth. I'm not aware of a strong 100 tooth ratchet design out there yet, eg the GW 120xp most people find fragile feeling. Fragile feeling is how I would describe most 72t ratcheting wrenches as well.
