I'm looking for a source for a inexpensive dual thread ****** connector. I want 3/4 x 14 NPT on one side and 3/4 standard thread on the opposite side. I found one, from a lab supply house at 65.00 each. At that money I had to reject. As an alternative, an eye bolt or lifting ring with a 3/4" NPT thread will accomplish the same purpose. Grainger wasn't able to help. MSC didn't get back to me (yet). I don't have the dies. Suggestions as to where I might continue to look?

Does it need a hole in the middle or are you just attaching something? Where are you located? Someone could make one in about half an hour.

I'll explore that today. It may provide different possibilities. The application is to make a garage doorbell (bell). I'm trying to find a graceful line to the hanging portion. Clearly it is a tank, but I'm attempting to visually mask the connection. I can do a NPT to the tank, but after that it gets murky. I thought about a trailer ball as an element but the threads don't match. Rethreading the top (if to too hard steel) would work but the tap is costly.

thinking outside the box, since the bottom of the tank is cut off why not get a large eye bolt with a closed loop and a thread long enough to simply washer and double nut it inside the bell? put a stainless washer ground the same size as the od as the top under the eye to hide the opening. If you tighten the nuts on the inside they won't dampen the sound.
