This was in a tool box I purchased on Craigslist.
I never knew such a thing existed.
After taking it apart and cleaning it up inside and out, I lubed it up with some clear synthetic grease and reassembled it.
It has a good feel to the ratchet action, and I'm keeping it to use.
There are no markings on it at all.
Any idea of the manufacturer?

This is the same basic mechanism that's used by HF, Kobalt and Tekton amoung others. I had a Titan (Northern Tool) ratchet that was the same up to the color. I agree the feel is good. The head thickness is more than I would like and I don't care for the reversed selection lever. Still, great feel for the money. I'm not sure if HF and say Tekton are coming out of the same factory but they might. THis is part of why I don't get too hung up on the HF ratchets. They are all but the same as many other brands that use this same basic design and they are all (except for perhaps the new 90T Kobalts) use the reversed selection lever. Still, not at all a bad feeling mechanism.
