on another note, Great-West Life *****, they take FOREVER to process claims, specifically glasses!

That's pretty random. Although ironic as i deal with them daily with my job. Do you have the option of submitting an e-Claim through Groupnet with your employer? This is the fastest way to proceed if you didn't receive your compensation at point of sale.

Met up with some car guys this past Sunday to snap a couple pics. This one is my favorite. Big Boy Toyz, and then my car lol..

Uploaded with ImageShack.us

Hot cars! BTW, I've said it before but your single garage space is awesome. Talk about making the most out of a small space

They are both in minty fresh condition. One is a 2010 C63, and the other is a 2006 M Coupe.

And thanks for the kind words, really wish i had more to play with then a 10x19 :)

Kyle's right. Never make light of your car, it's obvious to anyone that knows cars and what it takes to keep them nice that it's owner makes the effort. Nice car.

Thanks Dan!

I wish everyone would just host there pictures here.
Now, This is looking good, but are these pictures going to stay here, so someone a year from now can enjoy the thread, or are the pictures going to be deleted in a month or two?
Plus the page takes forever to load.

I'm inexperienced in this domain. What do you mean by hosting pictures here?

Hey Dubber, nothing less than two thumbs up to you for making Jorgen's RD Gallery!!:thumbup:

Thanks Marty, i was pretty pumped when i saw it. Especially with the company i was mixed in with, both the garages and their content :)

Hahaha, now I'm really lost. Firstly not offended at all, just super confused where the reference originated. No worries though, I'm a Benefits Manager, and we use GWL as our provider.

EDIT: I fail, just saw the reference :)

Very true, you are free to continue though hahahaha. I was talking to the dude with the AMG C 63 and he was saying he only gets about 200kms out of a tank lol.....And another huge benefit that was a deciding factor for me was how cheap the monthly insurance was in comparison to other "toyz" i was looking at the time.

HAHA, thanks dude you've got my back. Rick BTW, I'm mad at you for painting your rails, and posting the pics. Now mine are "bothering" me lol....

Of all the things I've done in my garage, I actually enjoyed painting the rails the least. I like the outcome, but it was not fun. Well, it was fun for the first 20 minutes, but working on a ladder for that long actually took a physical toll on me. Good news though, I now have a 6-pack and a very toned right arm. Have fun with it.

Stop with all this rail paint talk! My wife caught me staring at the rails in the garage this afternoon and here's how the conversation went:

Wife: What are you looking at
Me: I think we should paint it
Wife: We *just* painted the garage!
Me: No, not the wall, the rails
Wife: The WHAT?!
Me: See these rails, we should paint them
Wife: (looking at me like I am from Mars) Just where do you get all these crazy ideas from!! (walks away shaking her head in disbelief)

So there, stop spreading these crazy ideas and making people like me look like idiots! :)

LMAO!! I had a conversation not unlike this with my wife last night when we got in. :) Though I haven't painted yet.. I mentioned my color scheme for the garage, and then that I was considering painting the rails and I got that "Are you serious!?" look. :)

Isn't this place great?? (and Dubber, I checked my rails, they're not too long!). :D

My wife asked me how many times I'm going to redo the garage. Install cabinets - tear them out. Install shelves - tear them out. Install stairs - gonna be tearing them out. Thank you, GJ!

GJ is full of tons of crazy ideas that give our wives some alone time. They should be thankful were keeping ourselves occupied.

I think most of us can relate to this for sure. Insert any other project or idea we have had.

dubber, what finish did you paint your walls/ceiling? Semi-Gloss all around?

I think it was but i can't 100% remember, i'll check tonight and get back to you.

Semi gloss? I would think not, way too glossy for walls, especially the ceiling, I used satin on my trim and it matched the cabinets perfectly, and they have a slight sheen to them.

I wouldn't use anything except flat on the ceiling and satin at the very shiniest for walls(still would be too shiny for walls IMO), eggshell or flat would be best for walls, although flat wouldn't clean up easily.

I'm no painting expert by any stretch. Now i'm really hoping i didn't go with semi-gloss, don't want to embarrass myself hahaha.

You'll just have really shiny walls that reflect A LOT of light and show every imperfection, that's all. :)

semi-gloss cleans up easier tho, no?

Yes, but it can look a bit tacky and overwhelming on walls, like a gas station bathroom haha. Plus like I said it shows every imperfection too. You could get decent cleanability with satin or eggshell finish. How dirty are your walls getting anyway? Plan on smearing grease everywhere? :)

I'm thinking mine has some gloss to it. I think my thoughts at the time was for ease of cleaning and a little reflecting for the small space made sense to me.
