Has anyone used an old furnace fan and some duct work to make an exhaust system in the attic? I'm wanting to exhuast some welding fumes, deep fryers, and hot air in the summer. So I'm wanting an exhaust vent in a few different areas around the shop.

Also may want to have a way to filter and return the air back into the shop. (When wood working, to filter the dust out of the air).

I'm getting ready to drop the ceiling in my pole barn late this fall early winter, when harvest gets over with. Figured it would be easier to get the exhaust system in place before putting in the ceiling.

I've searched the forum and found bits and peices of stuff that I like, I'm just gonna try to pull it all together on a low budget.

Thoughts, ideas??????
