The tank is just sitting on the slab. The compressor will have isolation mounts.

I hadn't thought of it. But I have created a bomb. Any ideas as to putting the compressor that close to the propane tank?

Nice shop! Well played sir. I hope it wasn't anything serious and that your wife is feeling better.
Are you able to build a wall to separate the propane and compressor? Maybe put the propane tank vent on the opposite side of the shed as the compressor intake. Can you plumb the compressor intake directly outside?

Put a sheet of 5/8 drywall to separate the two. If still concerned do the 5/8 drywall and Roxul.

I have a question concerning the truck. How much room does your 28' depth shop allow for working on a full size four door truck?

I'm still in planning/designing stage but depth has me stumped because I drive a Ford 4 door Super duty and 28-30' just seems to short for the truck, toolbox, and room to work.

Rebelranger... It is just enough for my Tundra Double cab (not a true 4 door) with a 6.5' bed. I could have moved the lift more towards the center of the floor and had some more room in the front. As it is I can't put a toolbox in front of the truck while it is on the lift. I plan on building a flip up table that mounts on the wall or just rolling my Mac box out of the way when needed.

The lifts look great! like the gloss black.

How are those Husky boxes working out? I know they're a little lite-duty, but they seemed pretty good for the year-end prices..

Also, I like your rolling metal/welding table! Any more info on it? No doubt home-built.. looks to be about 2'x6' (or even 8' long?) to me.. do you find that a good size, or would you change anything if/when you build another one?

Hello Andrew, The Husky boxes are working out super. I have 3 of them, one is just nuts and bolts, one is electrical and plumbing, and the 3rd is welding materials and machine tooling.

The table is 31"x96" with 3/16 top. It's actually more of a layout/assembly table. My welding table is 30"x60" with a 1/2" top. So I have options as far as length and top thickness.
