Simply AWESOME work !!

Curious of your overall shop size as you have tremendous concentration of storage with the Rousseau and the HF cabinets ?? Any pics of all the Rousseau's together ??

Also, any pics of self-leveling feet you used on 2"x2" square tubing for skeleton of cabinets?? These all welded in, or just slide in??

It's been almost four months...

Any late news flashes???

Olddh, unfortunately nothing major to report or show just yet. I have been busy with some of my wife's projects which I will post in my garage projects thread as soon as I can replace the hard drive on my computer. I am using my iPad for everything at the moment.

It has been too hot to weld in the shop here in Houston but as soon as we drop below 90 again I will have some new projects done.

Thanks for the comments. My shop is a 3 car garage with a double door and single door and is roughly 22 x 30.. I don't know if I have any pics of the Rousseaus all together but in my YouTube videos you might get a glimpse of one wall at least with them together. The tube inserts are from JW Winco (same place as Steevo) and the leveling pads are from the company that used to be called Reid Supply and is now Essentra. I believe. They had a special one time sale for your first order where you got 50% off so I loaded up on pads and some 2 x 3 inserts for the Rousseau frames.

Just re-read this entire thread.. Great, great, build. I'm in awe:)

I appreciate the comments.

Yes updates please. I'm starting to drink the Crown for fear of it going bad.:lol_hitti

NOOOOOO not the Crown!!!! What can I say.... The boss demanded some of her projects get done so I have been working on those. I do have a new cabinet for the garage that I will post soon. Technically I didn't build it but I am sort of rebuilding it. 28 drawers with 4 doors on top. It's huge! That should buy me some time! :)

Some great projects going on there. I will be following this one to see what all comes out of this.

Thanks for coming along for the journey. Hopefully will post the cabinet I am rebuilding sometime this week when I get a new hard drive installed so that I can load up some pics. I will also show some pics of my newest tool toy.... Waited months and it's finally here.

How did you make the wooden work surface for that 72in toolchest?

I'd love to have one made for my smaller cabinet but don't know where to start looking and how much to budget...

Tips?

I found a remnant counter top from Lumber Liquidators. They will often have maple and other wooden counter tops for sale cheap that have had corners dinged in or minor surface damage. I found this maple one there which was originally 8' and cut to fit. I bought it for less than I could have bought the 8/4" maple rough lumber.

Jeff I will have to check and see if I have any others. Currently the benches are buried behind a mountain of other equipment as I'm storing some stuff for a tractor ( brush hog etc) in my garage until I can get a storage place built on the new property we just bought.
