Dumb A$$ Attack window A/C unit T/Stat help

Can any one please look at these pictures, and happen to know there the 2 terminals of the Thermostat hook to?
I jumped it our a few years ago, and can't find my notes.
I didn't just make a jumper and jump the 2 wires, looks like and I remember taking a short wire out, and then, relocating a wire on the switch.
It was OK like thus because I would cool the room off with the big unit and then I had a small unit in another window but they close the porch off for me and I don't have another window for the small unit so I would like to put the thermostat in but don't know where the wires go please help if you can thank you.

I can't rightly say from your pics, but there should be a diagram on the inside of the electrical cover.

Didn't get that far, but did figure it out.
( Un plugged unit each time) and disconnected a few wires one at a time.
Till I found the wire that the compressor did not come on. It's unplugged in the 1st picture, second one down, right side.
