Dumb Question

I understand that one has to have 100 posts before posting for sale ads and that we are to PM to respond to purchase.
Is it appropriate to post a WTB/Looking for such and such part as a general vintage post...as a Junior member, or can one place a WTB in the classifieds?
A long cold day has brain fade creeping in.

There is a section in the classifieds for WTB.

Generally speaking, asking if someone has a missing or broken part in a restoration post is acceptable here. I have done this several times when tearing down and restoring old vises and floor jacks.

Dropping a new thread simply for the sake of WTB is not good form in this particular section.

If there are any additions or corrections to the above, a moderator will chime in but I think that if you follow the golden rule of life, "Don't be an a$$h0le.", I think you'll be just fine.
