I recently came into owning a older model (8028-210) Dumore hand held grinder and it needs some slight repairs.
The foot pedal needed to be rewired, thats already been done, and the cord from the grinder itself has been severed and needs to be replaced.
It seemed fairly straight forward; take off the chuck, the 2 screws that hold on the "hand-held" portion of the outer casing, the bearing/shims and the whole drive shaft/armature should fall out.
The problem is, it doesn't. Ive removed the brushes and anything that seems like it would hold it up but nothing seems to work.
The housing on the rear half, where the brushes/switch and cord entrance are located is solid and allows no access to anything.
Is anybody familiar with these and is there something i'm missing? I didn't see any other screws or nuts hidden in the grinder and i don't want to force it just yet.
Ill try to get a picture of it later but if you search that model number provided, there are a number of them on ebay under the used section.
Thanks everybody
