Not all BMS have low temp cutoff, and many that advertise having it dont work. See reply below....They have BMS (Battery management Systems) if they have that. Basically a circuit board that prevents events such as over-discharge, over-current, and prevents charge at or below freezing and keeps cells balanced. You can't charge these below freezing.
There's a young guy on Youtube "DIY Solar" that seems pretty knowledgeable about LiFePo4 batteries.
Will Prowse. Hes a youngin but he has been doing battery teardown and reviews for quite a while.
I trust his reviews and have bought many components based on his recommendations and reviews.
He will typically test capacity, over-amperage cutoff and low temp cutoff.
One thing to keep in mind, should you ever decide to make the lipo leap, is that the rated output of 100A on most BMS is the continuous duty rating. They will often have a 'max' or 'surge' rating much higher for 10-90+ seconds.
