I am new here. This is my dune buggy build, that thing that started my current garage. I am not a mechanic, and this is my first foray into building a vehicle from scratch. I'm kind of not happy with the size restrictions on the pictures, but it is what it is.

Well, I am learning as I go. Since I made the frame with mild steel, I think the motor will be a snow mobile motor, but I haven't committed to that yet. I have a few other projects to work on first, but the next thing for the buggy is going to be the suspension and steering.

Looks like a good start. Stick with it.

Minibuggy.net is another good buggy resource especially if not vw based. The samba used to be pretty much vw only. I'm actually building an ar51 buggy myself.
