Greetings,

My father hasn't had much luck selling that last Parker vise on here, but in the interim a drill press has been finished out and he would like to unload it to a good home and make some room in the shop to start on the other vises (and drill presses!)

This one is a Dunlap, model # is 101.03582 and it has been completely restored. New bearings in the press and the motor, re-wired, new link belts, all the old iron was blasted and repainted, all the parts are buffed up. Even the chuck was completely rebuilt. About as nice as they come and has the optional (and rare) third pulley attachment as well. Motor is a vintage Emerson 1/3 HP (see pics).

Absolutely a beauty and worth it at this price. Burn your tax return on a wicked cool vintage press, you know you want to. :bounce:

Will let it go for $450 shipped to GJ members in the lower 48. Elsewhere is doable but at increased cost. SOLD!!!

Here are the pics, enjoy!

Having just bought a restored Craftsman drill press from the seller, I can vouch that his dad does great work. I spent about this much, and feel that it's worth every penny. Make no mistake, these are heavy, and shippping is costly, but I was very impressed with the care that went into packaging it all up.

It's so nice to have a tool that you know is not disposable, and that doesn't have any plastic (well, except for maybe the knobs on the ends of the handle).

If you want an older "vintage" drill press that looks and performs like new, this is money well spent.
