I just recently purchased an old dunlap sears drill press. I love Timmy only issue is that it rpm speed is a bit too fast. How would I get ahold of the pulley and assembly need to add another pulley. What is the dims. Of the pulley needed?

One of the GJ members, JZiggy makes and sells speed reducer pulleys for Craftsman (and Dunlop) drill presses. Send him a PM.

Nice tool. I would also put a keyless chuck on there. Especially if you plan on using it quite a bit.

I'll disagree here, to the keyless chuck. You drill anything real and you're going to wish you'd never seen a keyless chuck. IMNSHO keyless chucks, as most folks know them, are sometimes good for cordless hole punchers, and mostly the **** can.

I find the Albrecht keyless chucks are pretty nice, especially in high speed small drill applications. They seem to have better concentricity than Jacobs #0 chucks. But the prices these days will make your eyes water.

I have used them in Bridgeport Milling machines and they have worked just fine. Not sure of the brand but a quality industial brand. I am sure they are bad ones out there. I would not condemn the whole concept based on your poor experience.
