Seems like this should be an easy find but I'm not having any luck.

I want to mount a duplex receptacle horizontally but have the slots in the same orientation as a normal vertical mount.

I've seen pictures (see below) but have only found one from Cooper and it's about $40 w/shipping - of course, it has surge, alarm, etc.

I just want a plain duplex - no GFI or any other features. I've seen the 360 degree rotating ones and may have to go with that but prefer it be fixed.

Suggestions?

Thanks.

There are also snap-in devices (like Leviton 1374-W) as another option, but I also couldn't find a duplex similar to the one you prefer.

I've seen it in the older Eagle GFCI's, but they got bought by Cooper and now it's not offered. They also dont have it in their regular receptacles. I'm gonna guess that you're not gonna find one.
Have you considered a plug strip instead or a swivel adapter, like the Cooper 1192w?
Good luck

I assume you want this so on cords with molded 90° ends, the wire goes straight down.
Or
Do you have extreme OCD?

Why else would plug orientation matter?

When your builder put one outlet in a master bath with two sinks and the backsplash and oversized mirror are too close to each other to stand an outlet up like normal. In our master, I added a plug and had to cut the faceplate to the same height as the box and ******-rig it to stay put. I'd buy 4 horizontal plugs right now if they were out there. So yea, OCD plays a part
