I’m doing a quick and dirty refurbish job on a four legged wood barstool that’s probably older than I am. It’s painted black. It has the expected scuffs and scrapes from being a stool, especially on the horizontal rungs.

Looking for a recommendation on durable paint that will hold up to “shop stool” use.

I've used this cabinet paint before for shelves and its petty durable stuff. It dries to a much harder finish then other paints so its really scuff resistant. One thing is that it takes 3 coats to get a good finish and you NEED to let it sit for at least a week before putting it to use to fully cure.
