I wanted to some experiments on different levels of prep, some antiskid, etc with duragrade. I've worked with the original rustbullet formula but threw that down super fast. If I crack a gallon of Duragrade, take out what I need, then re-seal the can, have I started a timer on it going south in the can, or as long as I'm clean about it, will I have plenty of time before I want to open it and use the remaining product?

If your product is a one part meaning it’s moisture cured, exposing it to air can start reactions. If you need to do this get a can of air duster which contains nitrogen and spray that into a cracked lid to displace the oxygen.

ArmorPoxy is right on. You may want to use a quart can for experimenting.
