Duralast OEM discovered!

I just want to stick this photo here, I was visiting taiwanese manufacturers and I saw something that the USA users may find interesting. A stack of boxes with the logo of duralast. Maybe someone here was wondering who makes them, so, Mystery solved!

The brand is called SunKey, and the company is RACHE, from Taiwan

Ok. The problem is that aside from KABO,Toptul. High Five, Tone, Sunex, or Grey Pneumatic who the hell knows who/what SunKey or Rache is?

It's not like the Taiwan Tool manufacturers actually slap their names on the tools sold here.

Are those the old Duralast tools or the new Duralast tools?

old,current duralast are china.and made by great neck.at least the sockets and ratchets.

The website is fresh-made, so I think are the ones right now in the shop... I live in the other part of the Atlantic so I cant verify XD

They're more companies there that I can imagine... but I like to search and find things like this. Some months ago I discovered the brand that made the screwdrivers for the late ACESA, and I found in a photo looking at the facebook embedded link in a website of a OEM brand listed in a website of hand-tool manufacturers association... WOAH

therein lies the issue. Great Neck Saw may be the company that orders them branded as Duralast and distributes them in the USA but, are they the actual manufacturer?

I don't think it's Great Neck anymore. All the current stuff is now made in China and gearwrench clones.

Better question - what was the reason for visiting with tool manufacturers ?

greatneck is an importer not a manufacturer in asia region .
duralast is autozones in house brand .
