Duralast ratchet----lubing

I have a small Duralast ratchet set. Is it possible/advisable to lube the mechanism somehow? Is so, how and with what? Oil, grease? Thanks.

I have some of the older 36t ones in 1/4 drive and 3/8. I just took the cover plate off and put some super lube on the back of the gear. It will work its way through the ratchet, did the job for mine.
