Hows the quality of Duralast tools? Does anyone here have them? Any comments?

Have only had 2 Duralast tools, a 24mm wrench that I use daily (mostly alignments) and a 3/8" 10mm deep socket (backup, barely used).

The socket has shown little wear from being used on my 3/8" impact, whereas a Craftsman I used for the same purpose wore out rather quickly.

As for the wrench, I've had a 5 foot pipe on the thing before and it has yet to break/bend...hell, it doesn't even have any chrome chips, surprising given the abuse.

Take that as you may. Personally I prefer Craftsman if I'm going 'low end'.

I may be off on this but it feels like Duralast is a no name GearWrench subsidiary. Just a hunch so in that case then they should serve majority of applications out there ok. I have an 18 mm combo wrench that's done ok so far.

But at the end it's still built to last DURALAST!!!

I bought a set of metric duralast socket set from big lots a long time a long. I did lots of car repair/junk yarding with them and never had any issues. Lost the ratchet and the extension in the junk yard one time so finally ditched the set. I feel I could get lot more service out them.

I have a 24mm deep socket I bought in a pinch. Much nicer than my new craftsman sockets.
