Probably by the same people who make Tekton, Icon,Blue-Point, Willams, Kobalt etc. Not too many tool manufacturers as machines are very expensive... Like car batteries 100 different kinds but only maybe a handful of manufacturer..

Do any of you know who manufactures Duralast ratchets, sockets, etc? I like their stuff. Decent quality and easy warranty for the money.

Apex. The ratchets are GearWrench knock offs and also similar to Husky. The sockets are the double detent kind, same as Husky. The screwdrivers are also Apex sourced. They’re good quality tools for what they are. I own several and haven’t had any issues.

At least the insert bits included with their toolsets are quite good. I like the handles on the new Screwdrivers.

Some of the wrenches were from https://www.rache.com.tw/ "Sunkey" they sell those individually. They have a colored dot.

Who cares...
Same damn plant as all the other Chinese hand tools.

Example...
In the automobile business....
Driveworks(advance) , duralast(zone),
masterpro(oreillys) ,
napa proformer(napa) are those vendors house brands and all come from the same Asian plant.
Different packaging/color schemes but it's all same stuff and all garbage.

Napa Chassis is not to be confused with proformer. It's a much better line and actually made by Moog.

Carquest is now being made by Moog and is Advance Auto higher end line (like Napa Chassis)

pretty sure its apex, same people who make husky, gear wrench, and crescent
Yep, ratchets have slightly different handles but the selector switch, gearing, etc. are the same. We don't have Duralast/AutoZone in Canada but the Husky stuff is decent enough, especially for the price and warranty.

Moogs not hitting on much either over the last few years, I've had multiple ball joints fail in a year or 2, tie rods with no thread on tapered end, tie rods with no hole drilled into the inner side, pitman arms with screwed up splines.

Moog is not the go to brand it used to be
Good lord...

Yes yes yes we've all had that "good brand" that has problems.
Hell I've had new Ford actuators bad from FoMoCo...
Moog or Rancho SS stud or drag link hole the wrong size. (Don't remember but I think it was Rancho..which is Monroe)
Bad AC Delco evap solenoids not hold vacuum right out the box. Amazing...

What's it all mean?

OEM, Moog is still light years ahead of the Chinese made house branded **** and it's not even close.
