so I raised my ceiling in the garage, unfortunately it exposes the rafters to the interior which means they need insulated. the roof needs air circulation. do to being built quickly in 1950 things aren't evenly spaced so there are gaps when using this stuff.

Will there be a problem, or should I be fine tossing some insulation over this? Next winter the garage will stay a decent 50 deg. The summer has no AC for the garage if it matters.

opinions, thoughts, observations?

i'd think you would be fine just don't push the glass up tight...let it hang off the plywood...when the glass is tight on the wood that is when you have problems with rot , though they are not a perfect fit they do still give you the air space your looking for...
