Dusk to Dawn light, Help!

Hello All,

It's time to replace my dusk to dawn light on the front of my garage (oversized 2 car). It's quite old and the ballast is shot. The light was 150w HPS with a lumen output of 16,000. It's wall mounted at approximately 12ft from the ground.

What would be apples to apples in a D2D LED? Am I better off sticking with HPS? My only real requirement is the D2D(wife's insistence). Any and all help is greatly appreciated.

I have tried fluorescent lights, HPS and incandescent. what I am using now is the old school twin floodlight fixture with a D2D sensor with LED floods 1500 lumen, 5000k. Lights the driveway like it's noon. with the equivalent usage of a pair of 20 watt bulbs.

I Picked up an Allpro from Home Depot for my garage. D2D and LED. Lights up the majority of my back lane to the point neighbors close their blinds at night....I don’t care, been burglarized before and never will happen again.

If I ever have to move out to the country, you can be sure my shop will have these lights on it.

sams club have these, it should be D2D or dust to dawn, if not you can always add a module for about $15 extra. I have the costco LED motion sensor on a wifi switch Timer $29.99..... at my house, and it works exactly what I wanted.

Something around 6000 lumens will be pretty close. The change from yellow HPS to white LED's will be a big improvement.
