Dustless (technologoies) Vacuum

Anyone have any experience w/ them?
HEPA or not?
I am looking to replace my shop vac, and would like to go w/ a dustless one.
I don't want a dust bucket or dust deputy or any other add on filter.
Needs to all self contained.

Seem to get good reviews, but not alot of other info.

I also like the wet/dry use w/ out removing filters,bags etc.
Do dustless vacs as a norm have less suction?

Dustless is just the brand name of the vacuum. It is not inferring that it is some type of dustless vacuum. It's just like Shop-Vac is a brand name and Craftsman is a brand name. Don't spend that kind of money. Buy a new Shop-Vac and with the right filters, you can vacuum almost anything. The key is the right filters.

Good grief on those prices.

Either buy a cheap shopvac/ridgid and a good filter or if you need something better get a Festool or Fein

Alto/Wap is another option besides Festool and Fein.

I should have specified; concretet dust, drywall, fines etc. will plug up a regular vac (filter) quickly.
Want to get away from that.
I know a dustless model will be more expensive, just want to get a good one.

I have a regular Shop Vac brand for utility use, floor cleaning, etc., but I also have 2 Festool HEPA vacs for finer dust. I use a CT22 for most portable wood working tools and it does a very good job, depending on the tool's dust collection capability. The CT 36 Autoclean definitely is the best, though unfortunately it's crazy expensive. It effectively filters the finest drywall dust since it was designed exclusively for the Planex drywall sander. The Autoclean feature works very well and you can turn it off if not needed.

Festool CT36AC and or Bosch Auto.
I have both. They auto clean the filters when working with sheetrock , etc.

It's a SYSTEMS APPROACH however. Key is to use the appropiate bad for whatever material you are sucking up - debris vs. fine powder, etc
