Hello from the UK.

Been reading this forum for over a year now and I think it is about time that I make a contribution. We bought our house 5 years ago which had an acre of land (big for this side of the pond).

In our paddock we had a barn which is demolished. Planning permission has been given for a 40 x 27 ft barn. The build is on hold at the moment due to job security issues as a result of the Corona virus. All will become clear in my thread.

May I suggest you update your location as in future you may find that helps you when you have specific questions that affect you. Specially given the forum has a very global membership. Often you will find subjects may get different answers depending on locations and regulations.

Thank you for the welcome everybody! My location is now updated and I am in Worcestershire, just to the South of Bimingham, UK.

JB052, the cycling is something I miss in the UK. We have loads of paths through fields locally but every hundred yards there is a stile. Don’t really want to venture on the the roads as it is to dangerous. I work in your county at Luton Airport.
