DWS 780 dust port improvements?

Miter saw dust collection is always a challenge. Especially for a jobsite saw that doesn't have a permanent home where you can build a cabinet around it, etc. The speed at which the chips and dust are coming off the barely-enclosed cutting area are difficult for a nozzle to catch. The best solutions I've seen for this type of setup are custom made boxes that attempt to enclose the blast zone with a thin-walled box of whatever material is handy for you. There's also a growing marketplace of folks selling 3d printed solutions like the one below:

This is terrific. I will research sole reviews and just buy it! I could print it but for 52$ done deal.Miter saw dust collection is always a challenge. I will have to reach out to them. Mine is a DW717. Not sure what the difference is between the 717 and 718, but they don’t list mine and I desperately need a dust collection solution.

Update and review: this product is terrific from the standpoint of the Dewalt OEM dust mitigation solution is just a little better than worthless. We can probably agree on this. SHOPNATION has done a good job on printing these custom, model specific installs that works very well. It does have one big weakness that you have to remember.
Remember the tiny worthless Dewalt scoop that caught maybe 70% of the saw dust? Well it was tiny for a reason because when or if you store your saw in the storage mode, the scoop never caught the fences-ever. They also never caught a lot of the saw dust for this reason.
The SHOPNATION‘s scoop will tear if you forget to raise the saw or forget to straighten it to zero before moving the saw blade to the back. If you don’t develop a routine you will tear one right away like I did. But nothing a little duct tape won’t fix. I tore the SOB slightly again tonight, and thought I should report back to youtz.
It comes with two of these scoops that are held in place with screws. I wrote him and told him about what happened. A week later he replied and He directed me to 1/16” x 3” wide rubber/neoprene sheet on Amazon.
Other than that, it is a perfect upgrade. This in no way should stop anyone from buying this, but mention this to the seller so he knows we know. Worth every penny.
