This is Gray's imported brand, like Bluepoint to Snap-On. They no longer make Maple Leafs. I picked up some 3/8" drive 6pt metric sockets to fill in. These are nice sockets. The deep stamp is easily read by old eyes as well as having the laser etch. There is a cross hatch knurling band, which I think all sockets are supposed to have. They use to. They are short sockets, unlike say a Proto. While all 6pt are heavy walled, just the hex broach, these one looked sturdy, not old MAC sturdy, though. I have impacts that are wimpier than old MAC chromes. If you are a Canuck on a fixed income, these are worth a look. Or just plain cheap.

The small industrial supplier had only 1/2" Gray, but a more complete stock of Dynamic.

I blame this purchase on Garage Journal. After reading here for awhile,I inventoried my sockets and wrenches. So it's been filling in gaps, replacing the less than satisfactory, completing sets and making up 6pt rails.

I remember coming across a dynamic socket at a liquidator socket bin. These tools are probably as good if not better than other Made in Taiwan options, but the number of Made in Taiwan options I can choose from is giving me a headache. If this is the option that stands out to you, good for you.

Since it was an industrial supplier, I bummed a discount. They took pity on an old phart. That thin white hair effect. So they were less than the Gearwrench at KMS, a western Canada tool store and even less than the Jet at Lordco, a BC auto parts chain, with my account discount. But it was 3 stops, I had to stop at KMS for 12pt Gearwrench and Lordco for the missing 6pt SAE. That's a lot of stops for a few sockets.

At the KMS stop, I found a couple NOS made in USA 6pt Blackhawk in the clearance section for 99 cents, so that averaged out.
