This is Gray's imported brand, like Bluepoint to Snap-On. They no longer make Maple Leafs. I picked up some 3/8" drive 6pt metric sockets to fill in. These are nice sockets. The deep stamp is easily read by old eyes as well as having the laser etch. There is a cross hatch knurling band, which I think all sockets are supposed to have. They use to. They are short sockets, unlike say a Proto. While all 6pt are heavy walled, just the hex broach, these one looked sturdy, not old MAC sturdy, though. I have impacts that are wimpier than old MAC chromes. If you are a Canuck on a fixed income, these are worth a look. Or just plain cheap.
The small industrial supplier had only 1/2" Gray, but a more complete stock of Dynamic.
I blame this purchase on Garage Journal. After reading here for awhile,I inventoried my sockets and wrenches. So it's been filling in gaps, replacing the less than satisfactory, completing sets and making up 6pt rails.
