New to the forum. After reviewing a lot of other thread and garage build, I've been inspired. First off, XcYZ's build is completely awesome and one of the main inspirations of my build. Info of the garage and house: 3 car garage, part of a 2 story 3620 sq ft home. Garage is 20' deep x 27' wide x 9'3" tall. Plans: 3rd carport will be my little shop to work on my hobbies; mountain biking and off roading in the truck, the main carport will have 2 cars; toyota camry and honda civic. truck is too tall to fit. One reason I needed RV parking when we purchased the house about 2 months ago. I'll be building suspended shelving to keep things off the ground and cleared. Anything on the floor will be around the "shop" area. As stated we just got the house so, a lot of boxes and things are still in the garage. We are slowly purging through everything and should have it cleaned up within the next couple of weeks. For now here are some pics of the and the initial set-up of my shop. Drawing plans will be sketched out soon. More to come.

I plan on changing the support mounts later. As soon as the shelves are up and garage cleared/cleaned up a bit, I'm going to add drywall to the shelving and add some sliding doors to hide everything.

The santa cruz is for DH , the cannondale is more for FR/urban riding and less technical trails. I've been riding the santa cruz more often. Even to trailer the kids along the paved trails.

Here's an updated pic of the garage. More shelves and a lot more stuff cleared out of the garage. Have a pile near the front of the garage for the AM VET folks to come by and pick up for donations. Soon I'll have the 2 cars parked inside.

However, after today's discovery of 2 teeth broken from my rear pinion differential, progress on the garage will come to a halt Until it's fixed.

Garage build has been slow. Have been needing to do other things around the house and work on the truck. Recently, had my rear ring and pinion break. Fixed that and started working on my wheels and tires. Tires are 37" goodyear military OZ tires. I grooved the 2 center lugs. The wheels are HMMV H1 8 bolt wheels. Purchased from Trailworthyfab.com. They cut out the center section and weld in a new mounting surface to match my 6 x 5.5 lug pattern on my yota. I primered and painted with rusto rattle can. At the same time, I had replaced my front rotors. Thinking the pulsating brakes were from warped rotors. So, I bought some summit racing cross-drilled/slotted rotors installed them and the issue was not resolved. So, then I replaced the rear drums with Centric drums, No more pulsating brakes!!!
