Do they make an adapter to go from a e27 bulb base to the standard/medium base. I got a good deal on some led's (or so i thought) showed up and they weren't standard base. I thought they were candelabra base but they weren't that either. Guy at lowes said they were e27's and good luck finding a adapter. Anyone know where i can find an adapter cheap

I don't think your bulbs are E27 base, E26 and E27 are basically interchangeable and both fit standard medium screw base lighting fixtures (the most common basic light bulb base)

Perhaps they are E17 or E14. E17 intermediate screw base is fairly common here in the US, this is the base used for C9 sized Christmas lights, along with many other smaller decorative and specialty lamps. E14 is a European size. If the bulbs are designed for 120 volts, I would expect it to be an E17 if the base is larger than a candelabra base and smaller than a standard medium base.
