Eagle 2 post lift cable nut

Hello,

I purchased a used eagle 2 post lift MTP-9a which I have mostly setup. About the last thing to do is double but the cable, but I've found two nuts are missing to double but it, not sure if the shop who had it last didn't use them or if they got lost in the shuffle. It is part number 26.1 in the pdf that is linked below. Does anyone know what size nut/threads this is before I go and buy a whole bunch of sizes? Unfortunately I live in the country so it's a bit of a drive to the hardware store to buy just a couple at a time and try them.

Have you called Eagle with the part number from you're PDF and asked them how much it'd be to get a couple?

I haven't as I figured it would be an easy buy at the hardware store. Wishing I had one of the thread checkers which would make this easy.

Take one of the nuts with you to the store.

Um, when I look at the exploded view, it says to me there is the same style threaded adjuster on both ends of cable #26. So I would take the other side apart, and as suggested take it to the hardware store.

My bet based on all the other metric hardware that's called out in the manual, is that its a metric thread. Don't know what size cable, my free guess its a 10-12mm diameter. (3/8" to 1/2") and you will probably be into a M10 or a M12 standard coarse thread nut.

FYI for anyone who runs into the issue I did it's a m16 bolt. Although the posts before were reasonable I didn't want to have to readjust the cables so I went buy four different sizes, 2 metric and 2 American for a few bucks and one of the metrics fit.
