early 2000s extended cab silverado rockers?

anyone done these....? I am abit confused as now that I am into it there is a middle layer that is similar ish to a replacement inner rocker, but not quite the same...

Debate getting a 2nd set off inners and cutting to fit or just bending a couple replacement panels.

 

[why worry]

I did mine on a 2001 silverado crew cab used some used ones off a 2005 which allowed me to do the inner and outters at the same time. A bit of a chore but came out nice in the long run.
