Early Craftsman 1/4 inch box

A small win during the plague. I was dispatched for supplies but couldn't resist checking to see if the local indoor flea was open.

It was open and worth the stop. You can see that the original rice paper is still in the socket tray.

Very nice find! What pieces do you have? I'm not aware of any 1/4" drive socket sets from this era, but rather they were 9/32" drive - which is what I believe Todd is showing.

I have all of the drive tools for the 16 piece set on the left side. They are 1/4 inch for sure.

Thanks! I was shocked to find it. Never thought I would find one and there it was waiting for me. :)

I'm pretty sure that box is for 9/32 drive C- series...…….that's what my sockets are.

Yea, you guys are right. Even so, since I have the box, now I have to fill it with the proper 9/32 stuff. I will be visiting the tool temple for some goodies. :)
