Early Ford Shift Column Interchange Question.

Slowly working on a '59 Ranchero father/son project that was originally manual shift and plan on an automatic. There are a few Ford fans here so hoping someone can advise on which years would be a bolt in. I've read at least '58 - '62, but confirmation is always good.

That platform was used for '57, '58, and '59.

Thanks FiftyV8 for the suggestion and links. This is going to be more of a hot rod than a restoration and after seeing some of the work on here thought I'd take a chance. Visited your fine city in the eighties while in the Navy, had a taste for Swan Dark Lager which I guess isn't around any longer.
