I came across these awhile back and know they are early but not sure how early. Also I’m not positive what a couple of them are and wondering if anyone could give me some insight on them so I do not misrepresent them if I decide to sell them.

The extension, or what I’m fairly certain is, seems to have 2 sets of detent balls. What’s the use of these?

The adapter, the detent ball is collapsed on it, what are these used for?

Is the one a form of early ratcheting adapter?

And is the other just a early wrench?

the upper detent keeps the extension from going too far in the socket.

all your other guesses are right.

well... technically the 'ratcheting adapter' is more of a disengage-able rotatable locking coupler.

The rat adaptor is about 23. the rat looks late 20s (prob. has a date code) the rest look 20s. The rat adaptor is worth the most, very hard to find. the rest are somewhat common.

Those are called hammerhead wrenches. Basically two sockets welded to a steel rod. You could buy them individually or came in certain sets. Here is a 1927ish ferret set that came with them. The toothy thing is a number 6 ratchet adapter. That is an early one around 1922? Or so. The ratchet is a number 7 ratchet looks like 26 or later. Adapter looks like 1/2 to 5/8 drive. None of it is crazy rare, the ratchet adapters go for like 100 to 200, the rest 10 to maybe 75 $ for the various pieces.

Where would be the best outlet to list them? I had planned on eBay but after not finding and others listed I wasn’t so sure.

Ebay is ok. They are not real common so there may not be any others listed.
