:thumbup:I was in need of a new 1/2 impact gun because the old Napa gun was on its last legs. I was reading reviews on different guns and seemed the HF earthquake 1/2 had a lot of great reviews and very few bad so I thought I would give it a try. I found a coupon that brought the price from $99. to $78. with CT. tax so it did not hurt to much. I went to New London CT. Harbor Freight and picked it up. My first impression it was "heavy" 6 lbs and it is a lot heavier than the Napa is. I like the reverse switch on the back instead of the push button. And it is Red. So I have to put a fitting on it and give it a whirl, FYI: do not buy HF air fittings they ****.

First thing is to tighten up the new trailer hitch again, just to see if the bolts will move a little.:)

Agreed, worth the money. I've had one for about 2 years now to have as a back up, and it has now become my primary. Its heavy for what it is but I really like the quick adjustment on the back.

Heavy? Yeah sorta. But the physical space it takes up is the same as anyone else. That to me means that it is built pretty sturdy. My 1/2 works perfect for me. I'm not pro so the warranty isn't of much concern.

I used it today to tighten up the trailer hitch, pull all the wheels off my 2500hd and switch to summer tires. It has twice the nut that my old napa impact has, of course it is 22 years old so it has earned its keep. Yes I like it.
