Hello,

I don't currently have enough posts to post in the wanted section so I figured i'd post here and ask for some part numbers.

I've got a complete set of Easco 1/4 Shallow SAE sockets, and i'm looking for a complete set of the 1/4" Deep SAE sockets but I don't know what part numbers to look for on eBay.

Maybe someone can help me out with some links/part numbers so I can start completing my collection. :)

1/4" drive 6-point SAE deep well:

7/16" = 511214
https://www.ebay.com/itm/EASCO-1-4-DRIVE-7-16-DEEP-6-POINT-SOCKET-511214-U-S-A/162830588597

1/2" = 511216
https://www.ebay.com/itm/Easco-Tools-Sockets-Chrome-1-4in-Dr-1-2-511216-USA/302557798191

In most cases, US tool manufacturers build the size of the SAE socket into the part number (by 32nds) - look at the last two digits in the part numbers above:
511214 = 14/32" = 7/16"
511216 = 16/32" = 1/2"

and down the line: so a 3/8" is going to be 511212, etc., etc..

here's a 3/16"

3/8"

11/32"

9/32"

1/4"

7/32"

^ beat 'em down on the price and haggle 'em on shipping.
every one of those has been listed for months, if not longer. I know because I'm searching new EASCO listings daily.
it's EASCO, for chrissakes, not Snap-on. :lol:

best of luck in your search.

IIRC Easco was a Craftsman supplier for awhile. I've got some of their tools - very nice quality if I say so myself.

I really like their ergo "paintbrush" ratchets.

Thank you guys so much for the information!

I'm buying Snap-On everything and organizing the sockets i've had in shed forever.

So far i've found 1/4" Shallow Easco set. 80% of the Craftsman 1/4" -G- shallow set, a few Snap-On sockets (old school), some Easco sockets, the entire lineup of 3/8" Armstrong Shallow sockets.

And I believe Craftsman -V- or -G- Metric 1/4". All kinds of goodies.

And lots, and lots, of Japan, Taiwan, Chinese sockets.

Again thank you guys, I appreciate it so much!

Being the supplier of Craftsman tools is what they are best remembered for. They were bought by Danaher and made some if their KD and Allen branded stuff. Eventually the Easco name was phased out. Wikipedia

I assembled a metric set of 3/8" drive sockets with the "G" code. Solid tools. They are backing up my Bonney and S-K sets.

Not a clue!
The only EASCO I have is a small 1/4" drive SAE set (3/16" - 1/2" shallow sockets, ratchet, spinner, extension, and u-joint) and I believe I got it for right about $25 bucks including the shipping.
It's in one of those plastic blow-mold boxes and one of the latches is broken so they guy came down on the price a few bucks.

All you can do is watch it and hope somebody doesn't bid it way up!
