Easco/Armstrong warranty address

So, I have an Easco 3/8" universal joint in need of replacing...
All I could find was that Apex owns them, and that Armstrong might replace it.

But is there a simple address I can drop it in the mail and send it to?
I never get to any Armstrong dealers, and it's not worth the hassle to track down a Grainger or something.

I'd call before I sent stuff there... that's the HQ, but IIRC it's also the hand tool warranty address.

You might try a Napa if your local one is cool, they're an Apex distributor.

Fastenal is also an armstrong distributor.. I know people often warranty Armstrong stuff there.

Always used fastenal for my armstrong warranty, not that there has been many.

Somehow I missed the address when I was googling the warranty. Didn't realize it was right on their website...

I would be interested to find out if they warranty the Easco stuff. I was under the impression that the Easco brand was a manufacturer that made Craftsman up until the later 80's or early 90's. I recently obtained some Easco stuff and it is identical to my older Craftsman stuff.

Easco background -

In 1967 Moore Drop Forging was acquired by the Eastern Stainless Steel Corporation, a maker of stainless and specialty steels, and by 1969 the company had been restructured as the Easco Corporation. Easco continued the Moore contract for production of wrenches and socket tools for Sears, and also offered a line of hand tools under the Easco brand.

How much is your time worth? You can get an SK 3/8 univeral on Amazon for $21. That's what I did when my Craftsman 3/8 universal got too floppy to use.

That's why I don't feel like trying Fastenal/Grainger/whoever

I can drop it in the mail for about $3, and if they replace it, great. If not, I'll look for one for a few dollars the next time I'm at the flea market.

Although if I really thought I would have to spend $21 to replace it, I probably would try a bit harder....
