Easco Double Box End Wrench Set

Found this on my lunch hour last week for a drop-dead price. Since it wasn't marked and was hauled up out of a large tub of crappy greasy tools, the Estate Sale operator declared "well it isn't Craftsman, so how about.......?" I sheepishly pulled out my fiver and thanked him for the reasonable deal! These are a keeper for me, even though they don't qualify as vintage in the grander scheme of things.

actually, they are borderline "vintage" - Easco's been gone a while now.

Roughly how old is that “arrow” style? i just pick some combination wrenches up for cheap and was curious how old they were. They are exactly the same style as whats pictured

I’ve got a decent accumulation of Easco wrenches as well. They’re nice user tools.
The pouch of DBEs is a nice find.

I bought a couple of that style Easco wrench new from an auto parts store display board in 1987. I remember because I had popped a fan belt on my way to an important event and needed the tools to get back on the road.

I've got a few Easco tools. The hardware store carried them and if I needed a wrench for something I could walk there and pick up one, think I've got a few sockets also. This would have been mid-70s to early 80s. I wish now I would have bought more.
