EASCO Tools?

Seeking input and opinion on these hand tools. A friend asked me if I used metric tools ... My response was that metric was basically all that I used. My friend called me a few days later and asked to meet up at work. When we did he presented me with the set of Easco tools as seen below. The set is almost continuous from 9 to 32 mm. This is a set (especially the larger pieces) that I've needed foe a long time.

I understand that Easco used to make for Craftsman and these seem of similar quality. Hoping that others can provide the backstory on this set and how good they might be.

They are very good wrenches we have a lone 21mm that lives on the alignment rack no issues essentially is a craftman raised panel Usa made I believe up to mid 90 when I believe easco quite

Yea they were the main supplier of Craftsman tools. One in the same. KD and Allen were also made by them. I think people like them so much because they're no longer around and were produced when tools were made to last.

Easco Tools made Craftsman, KD, Allen, NAPA, and others like Master Mechanic over the years. They made a lot of sockets and ratchets in the Gastonia, NC plant. In the 1980s they made a lot of metric wrench and socket sets for the Government as the Humvee made its debut. Their blue tool boards were popular hanging in auto parts store throughout the southeast. They were basically durable, no frills tools that got the job done. The ever popular round head, fine tooth, quick release ratchet was EASCO made. They were absorbed by KD tools and Danaher and later killed off to provide the way for the Gearwrench line expansion. There are tons of EASCO made tools still out and about getting the job at hand done today.

I have that same set of wrenches and I don't have anything bad to say about them. What everyone has already stated mirrors my thoughts.
