I have an Eastwood 175 MIG welder. I've had it for over a year using it on a car build. It works great on the .100 and larger wall materials. So I had to drill out some spot welds and now I want to fill the holes. I look at my label inside the machine for reference. The metal is about 20 ga. so I check the label for 75/25 gas, ER70S-6 .023 wire and see recommended setting of E-5 (voltage/wire speed). The more I look at the label I see .03 thick the setting is B-4 and .060 is D-7. Do you think E-5 is an error? It looks like it goes in some sort of progressive order with higher voltage and wire speeds. A C-4 setting seems to work for what I'm doing. Just curious if anyone else thinks the label is wrong or if there is good reason that this is the correct setting?
Thanks!

Thin sheet metal With .023 wire I run D5 as my start point and adjust from there. My goal is good penetration and flat weld with as little grinding as possible. E5 is not far off D5 E might be touch high.
